While I wait for various sets to be released and Bricklink shops to be restocked, I’ve had a crack at starting my Purist Flash Gordon figures.  I hope to be able to make Dale, Hans Zarkoff, Ming and Klytus. and maybe war rocket Ajax if I can get enough red wing parts..

 

so the parts i’ve been waiting for have turned up from the states now and I’ve set to work. The guys aren’t to bad so far but they need a bit of tweaking. So from the back its brand, sloth, steph,andy and in  the front mouth, data, chunk and mikey.

Just a quick update to my Sabertooth, I’m now using flesh torso and a head from a werewolf in Harry Potter…

in my shipment from amercia I was waiting for a few parts to make Cable. his head is the rebel bounty hunter version of obi wan from one of the new star wars sets.

While I wait for my parts to arrive from the states I’ve started to assemble my Goonies here’s my WIP of data with some gadgets (bully blinders and punch out)

So the brickfan   posted images of an upcoming lego chima figure from the spider clan… I have to say its pretty much bag on for a predator

with the leaked images of Lego minigures series 12 I can at last make a reasonable Chuck for my Goonies set, that flower shirt is just what I need and have been after for ages……

ok so one of next years Chima figures have had pictures leaked….. I can’t wait for this to be released so I can make Batfink..

I’m pretty pleased with how he’s turned out although I may make his tongue a flat red piece

I finally got round to making the Back to the Future set which I have to say was a nightmare to make really.. partly due to the fact the bricks weren’t separated between bags and sections in the instructions and also due to the shear amount of single brick building pieces.. However that being said once built the set is great. I’ve made some embelishments to it such as the HAZMAT version of Marty and the video camera stuff etc. I know my photo is technically wrong (as its the BTTF 2 and 3 car in a scene from BTTF 1) but I’ll update it later. The improvement I’d make would be to make it smaller (its 10 studs wide) so it wont sit on any railway tracks of normal lego scale and I think I’d have liked to see wheel arches.
